From the Navy News Stand.  Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS San Juan (SSN 751) arrives for a routine port visit.

I visited Crete many moons ago via Space A travel, flying from Rota trying to get back to Germany. We flew in a little tiny plane with a 2 or 3 star Admiral. I remember the Admiral being very gracious and not too upset at having to share his plane. 🙂

I’m hoping there were some wives who were able to take advantage of flying in to enjoy this port call with their husband!
