Live Blogging from the DFW USO

This morning I began my journey to San Diego.  I’m flying American Airlines who apparently does not serve Diet Sprite or any soft drinks anymore (or at least on this flight).  I am at the DFW airport for a little over an hour, long enough for me to visit the USO and get the gum AWTM says I should have plenty of for when I meet all of you.  One of my ALL time favorite movies is playing right now in the lounge on the huge flat screen.  The Count of Monte Cristo.  Don’t you just love that movie?? Right now Jim Cavziel (or however you spell is name) is running his hand under dripping water – and will soon be dueling with the old guy.  There are about 20 folks here and it is VERY quiet.  I’ve seen Airmen, Soldiers and retirees and Im one of three women.  Well….Im off to get a free diet soda of some flavor.

The USO is located in Terminal B Gate 15.  It is a must if you are in the DFW airport.

I was going to take a picture, but I think I might disturb the movie watchers.

more later…..

the flight to SD / the 619 is 3 hours —grrrr
