BRUNSWICK, GA — A small boat with three sailors on board capsized during a training exercise at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.

One sailor died. Two others are being treated at Camden Medical Center. No word on their condition or identities.

The incident occurred during an oil response drill. Small boats were preparing to launch when the 30-foot Munson boat tipped over.

The Navy is investigating the incident.
