Homeward Bound

wedding.jpgYesterday, 15 Feb 07, my Grandma Lucy went home to be with the Lord.  She was an amazing woman, mother to 7 children and a ton of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  These are the facts, but the truth is …that isn’t the end of her story.

Today, while I smile remembering all the precious moments with my Grandma and cry knowing how much I’ll miss her….I can take comfort in knowing she was a believer in Jesus Christ.  The truth is she will now spend eternity with God.

1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.                               Revelations 21: 1, 3-4

Home now with my grandfather and face to face with Jesus, what an awesome thought.

See you on the other side Grandma!
