Movie time / Power Outage

Today the mr. and I went to the movies……in the middle of day!  He is on leave and Chris is back in school, so we actually had some time to run off.  Carey picked up Chris, so it worked out great…..well, except for the fact when we got home the power was out on the whole block.  Strangness.  We ended up at our neighbors trying to figure out what might wrong……..we all sat around talking by candle light.  When her husband got home, he didn’t know about the power, he said when he saw the candle he thought maybe a little “romance” might be heading his way.  We were there along with another neighbor, not what he wanted to see Im sure.  🙂  He looked more than a little confused!  The power was still out after about 30min. so we decided to go to dinner at Hunan’s.  The food was actually pretty good, but still only about a 3.5 out of 5.

We saw The Good Shepherd with Matt Damon.  It was better than I expected.  Highly recommended.

A grown up movie together, during the day!  I can definately say that was a 1st!
